Kushal Kumar - Pune, Maharashtra

 

My name is Kushal Kumar. I am basically from Dhanbad, Jharkhand but currently stays in Pune, Maharashtra. By profession, I am a Company Secretary working with a Multinational Company in Pune. ​

It was the year 2014 when I came to Asia Plateau for the very first time. I had cleared my CS final just a few months ago. It was one of the most difficult times in my life having cleared my CS but with no job. I was referred to MRA by one of my very good friend who had only instruction to me; just surrender to the place and you will see all the differences. And precisely that what I did, something which really helped in learning the four principles of MRA - Purity, Happiness, Unselfishness and Love. Being an introvert, it was not easy for me to share my feelings with fear of being judged. But with every passing days, I started getting more confident and comfortable with the people there. All this has immensely helped in understanding and knowing my life in a much better way. It is at Let's Make A Difference conference where I for the first time came to know about myself through introspection which I felt never gave myself enough time to know about me. 

QUIET TIME was the revelation for me and it stands out as the biggest takeaway from the conference. It has contributed me the maximum in my journey of change. It helped in getting clarity with what I want to do, what I should do.
​It helped me control my anger and follow the path in becoming ​a better individual.
​ I had never felt that I will be able to contribute in any way to the society. But thanks to Let's Make A Difference to give me that confidence to see life in a very different way and in believing that even I have a lot to contribute to the society and country at large.

All in all I can say that it was a life changing experience for me​ at Let's Make A Difference conference. And my journey for change and at Let's Make A Difference has just begun and a long way to go.
