Youth Conferences

This youth team of IofC conducts Regional Youth Conferences and National Youth Conferences to bring inner transformation within the youth to lead life with ethical and moral values and be accountable benchmark citizens who provide alternative thinking to the common men.

'Let's Make A Difference' [LMAD] conducts the annual National Youth Conference organized by IofC ('Initiatives of Change') at Asia Plateau, Panchgani, Maharashtra  for young people in the age group of 16 to 29 years. This is an eight day residential training programme which starts on the June 1 and concludes on the June 8, every year.

This Youth Conference is being conducted since 1995, attended by a cross section of Youth from various backgrounds and states. It encourages every individual to find their own unique contribution to the transformation needed in the world - starting with oneself.

It has helped many participants in getting direction for their lives, setting goals, improving family relations, career and their contribution towards the society.

This conference aims:

  • To inspire and motivate youth to realize their inner strengths
  • To strengthen their value system

Change is very relative for every individual. For some, change could be to mend their broken relationships with their siblings or parents, for others, change could be never to cheat in exams. For many, change could be never to pay a bribe; for some change is to be ethical in their business and profession, change could be filing an RTI application for accountability of governance; for some it could be quitting their vices, etc.

The heart of this Conference lies in the morning quiet time, one's personal space, as well as listening to the stories of others' success and struggles, which leads to personal introspection, realization of one's mistakes and in time, correction. LMAD creates a new beginning in one's life where deepest personal defeat suffered by human being is constituted by the difference between what one was capable of becoming and what one has in fact become. During one's time at LMAD these questions are addressed with profound clarity and one leaves the campus with a true sense of personal triumph.

To achieve this, we take the participants on an inward journey wherein they introspect and understand themselves better, thus helping them to initiate changes in their lives to make a difference. This is done through various interactive and fun filled activities that are spanned during the eight days of the conference.

Every year Youth meet, discussing and making road maps on how they can make a difference for making the world a better place to live.

Participants of National Youth Conference come from :

  • Top 100 Colleges of Indian Sub Continent send 2 representatives each who have consistenly exhibited values and traits mentioned to the Principal and Faculty.
