About Us

Let’s Make A Difference is a national youth movement running successfully since 1993 across the nation, India. It is a one-of-a-kind organisation spread across the country, in touch with thousands of young people, and is both non-political and non-religious. With an experience of the last 33 years, we have understood the needs of young people and what their desires and aspirations are.

The youth are the backbone of our country and will shape the dynamics in every sphere of life going forward. Today’s youth is more dynamic, well-informed, outgoing, experimental, risk-taking, bold, and open to trying new things, while embracing constant technological change. This shift is clearly visible with changing times.

However, Indian youth are also going through their own struggles. The young generation today is the second and third generation post-independence. While some have made their mark in their field or life, many others are still struggling and trying to find their footing. Hence, it became important for us to engage with them and understand them in order to help them grow and change.

We have understood the bottlenecks faced by young people, namely, career-related confusion, anger, fear, lack of focus, poor family relationships, bad habits and vices, addiction to screens, indecisiveness, and more.

These are areas that need regular attention, and even with the best willpower, one tends to slip on many counts. This is where Let’s Make A Difference comes in.

By conducting conferences at national and regional levels across various parts of India, we have created and developed a way of thinking and living that, if implemented, can bring about change in young people. If one person changes, that change is eventually seen and felt by those around them. These conferences are attended by many young women and men. The sessions are tailor-made to address various facets of youth and cover topics such as goal setting, nation-building, character development, moral and ethical values, and relationships.

The conferences serve as spaces for serious learning, bringing together young people from all walks of life, diverse backgrounds, and across societal divides such as socio-economic status, religion, caste, creed, and more. Participants attend these conferences in large numbers.

It is difficult to explain the journey a participant undertakes during these conferences because the experience is deeply personal, and each individual present has their own unique takeaways. To gain a glimpse into the movement, one must read the in-depth experiences of past participants after attending the national and regional youth conferences.

During the learning period of the conferences, the highest standards of discipline, punctuality, cleanliness, hygiene, community living, and humility are upheld. In our own way, we present and practice this as an alternative way of living.

The entire Let’s Make A Difference experience is felt deeply within. To truly understand the movement, one has to enrol and go through the process of learning, reflecting, and later applying these values in one’s life.

Since its inception, we have conducted 31 National Conferences and 106 regional programs across 35 cities, and have built a strong youth volunteer team of more than 300 people across generations, spread globally.
